CG ARQUITECTOS BRISA DO SUL
In this 3rd Order of Merit tournament, the Architects GC headed south to once again, to Amendoeira Golf Resort, to conduct the competitions included in the Brisa do Sul Tournament.
More than eight dozen players showed up very early in the morning at the already famous “buggie park,” where from 8:30am the foursoms started after the shotgun was fired.
This tournament had a huge number of club members, guests, and members of several national and international golf clubs.
The O’Connors Jr course allowed for a fantastic morning of golf taking into account the excellent quality of the fairways, greens and even the rough. In addition to the game and on the 10th hole, the on course bar, in addition to resetting the levels, creates moments of relaxation, which minimized the damage of the last 9 holes.
Neste 3.º torneio da Ordem de Mérito, os Arquitetos rumaram a Sul para uma vez mais, no Amendoeira Golf Resort realizarem as competições incluídas no Torneio da Brisa do Sul. Mais de oito dezenas de jogadores apresentaram-se bem cedinho no já célebre “parque dos buggies”, onde a partir das 8:30 as formações foram distribuídas pelos respetivos tees de saída.
Este torneio contou com um enorme número de sócios do clube, convidados, e membros de diversos clubes de golfe nacionais e Internacionais.
O campo do O’Connors Jnr permitiu uma fantástica manhã de golfe tendo em conta a excelente qualidade dos fairways, greens e até dos ruffs. Em complemento ao jogo e no buraco 10, o bar de campo, para além de repor os níveis cria momentos de relaxe, que minimizaram os estragos dos últimos 9 buracos.
The “NEUCE” lunch in the Clubhouse was top notch, both in terms of gastronomy, as well as the distribution of space and the friendliness of the entire staff. Soon after, prizes were handed out for both tournaments and from the raffle.
As for the winners, João Carvalho (Gross) and Mª João Ribeiro Telles (Net) stand out. Among the members of CG Arquitectos, victory for José Luís Veloso, followed by Domingos França Santos Silva and Eduardo Malhado. Amélia Lourenço was the best of the day among the guests.
The special awards went to Pedro Bessa Gomes (Closest to the hole), Mafalda Magalhães and Domingos Santos Silva (Longest drive), and to Ana Reis Vieira (Best 2nd shot).
O almoço “NEUCE” no Clubhouse esteve ao melhor nível, quer no que diz respeito à gastronomia, como à distribuição do espaço e simpatia de todo o staff. Logo após procedeu-se à entrega de prémios de ambos os torneios e tômbola.
Quanto os vencedores, destaque para João Carvalho (Gross) e Mª João Ribeiro Telles (Net). Entre os sócios do CG Arquitectos, vitória para José Luís Veloso, seguido de Domingos França Santos Silva e Eduardo Malhado. Amélia Lourenço, foi a melhor do dia entre os convidados.
