AVILA GOLF CHALLENGE
Avila Spaces, innovation leader in the flexible workspace market in Portugal, organized, on September 25th, the Avila Golf Challenge 2021, which took place at the Aroeira I golf course. The corporate event had a group of 40 golfers and is already planning the 4th edition.
On a fantastic late-summer morning, with sun and no wind, the participants included clients, partners and guests. The event also had the participation of 20 people in a clinic organized by the Orizonte Golf group. The lunch took place at the club’s restaurant, and the following players were awarded: 1st Net: Augusto Morais, with 44 points, followed by Fernando Furtado Coelho with 39 and José Henriques with 38 points. In Gross, the winner was Fernando Furtado Coelho, with 30 points, followed by Augusto Morais, with 24 points. Ana Catarina Pires was the winner among the Women with 10 Gross points. Special awards were won by: Pedro Moura, Closest to the hole; Filipe Veiga, Longest Drive.
“The third edition of the Avila Golf Challenge was a success, and it was also an excellent networking opportunity for everyone present. Avila Spaces’ mantra is “Work. Relax. Enjoy,” so it makes perfect sense to join a sport like golf,” said Carlos Gonçalves, CEO of Avila Spaces, at the end, adding that the fourth edition is already being prepared, and will bring news. “It is likely to appear in a circuit format, involving, in a first phase, several courses in the Lisbon area, later expanding to other regions of the continent and islands.”
