CGA 7TH OM - MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CUP
The 7th and last Tournament of the Order of Merit 2021 of the Clube de Golf dos Arquitectos, took place on the Quinta da Ria golf course. The event, which brought together more than 80 players, also counted for the Taça Mitsubishi Electric I Cup, closing an intense sporting season full of activities that, despite the pandemic circumstances, was fully carried out.
There was also a tournament that was not provided for in the calendar, played in the Azores. For the year, the CGA promises an even more appealing calendar and with diversified sports, as the sanitary conditions allow.
Returning to the tournaments played at Quinta da Ria, which closed the 2021 sports calendar, they were a success. Not only for the quality of the courses played, but also for the hotel unit where most participants (players and companions) of the event, stayed. The last day ended with a dinner followed by a show at Espaço Anfiteatro provided by the wonderful staff of Robinson Quinta da Ria, who brought together partners, sponsors and friends of the CGA.
At the end, the prizes of Tournament No. 7 of the Order of Merit were handed out. The winners were: Domingos Santos Silva (Gross), José Luís Veloso (CGA Net, 1st category), Norberto Mendes (CGA Net, 2nd cat
O7.º e último Torneio da Ordem de Mérito 2021 do Clube de Golf dos Arquitectos, teve lugar no campo de golfe da Quinta da Ria. O evento, que reuniu mais de 80 jogadores, contou também para a Taça Mitsubishi Electric I, encerrando uma época desportiva intensa e repleta de actividades que, mesmo com as circunstâncias pandémica, foi totalmente realizado. A excepção foi o Torneio Internacional, que irá transitar para o próximo ano. E este evento, foi compensando pela realização de um torneio que não estava previsto no calendário, jogado nos Açores. Para o ano o CGA promete um calendário ainda mais apelativo e com modalidades desportivas diversificadas, assim as condições sanitárias o permitam.
Voltando aos torneios jogados na Quinta da Ria, que encerraram o calendário desportivo de 2021, foram um sucesso. Não só pela qualidade dos campos jogados, como pela unidade hoteleira onde a maioria dos participantes (jogadores e acompanhantes) do evento, ficou hospedada.
O último dia, terminou com um jantar seguido de um espectáculo no Espaço Anfiteatro proporcionado pelo maravilhoso ‘staff’ do Robinson Quinta da Ria, que juntou sócios, patrocinadores e amigos do CGA.
No final, foram entregues os prémios do Torneio n.º7 da Ordem de Mérito. Os vencedores foram: Domingos Santos Silva (Gross), José Luís Veloso (CGA Net, 1.ª catego
egory) and João Alfredo Branco (CGA Net , 3rd category). Among the guests, the best was Arturo del Diego Suarez.
MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CUP I
Regarding the Mitsubishi Electric I Cup, disputed both in Ladies and in Men, the big winners were Arturo del Diego Suares (Gross, 51 points).
In Net, the Mitsubishi Electric I Ladies Cup went to Leonor Janeiro, with 62 points, with Filipa Horta Correia in second with 60 points, and Teresa Pires in third, with the same 60 points.
Among Men, the Net victory in the Mitsubishi Electric I Cup went to José Luís Veloso (65 points), followed by João Alfredo Branco (64) and by Arturo del Diego Rodrigues (63).
This first edition of the Mitsubishi Electric Cup was highly sponsored by the Portuguese branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV, one of the main partners and enthusiasts of Clube de Golf dos Arquitectos.

Em relação à Taça Mitsubishi Electric I, disputada tanto em Senhoras como em Homens, teve como grandes vencedores Arturo del Diego Suares (Gross, 51 pontos). Em Net, a Taça Mitsubishi Electric I das Senhoras foi para Leonor Janeiro, com 62 pontos, ficando Filipa Horta Correia em segundo com 60 pontos, e Teresa Pires em terceiro, com os mesmos 60 pontos.
Entre os Homens, a vitória Net na Taça Mitsubishi Electric I foi para José Luís Veloso (65 pontos), seguido por João Alfredo Branco (64) e por Arturo del Diego Rodrigues (63).
Esta primeira edição da Taça Mitsubishi Electric teve o alto patrocínio da sucursal portuguesa da Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV, um dos principais parceiros e entusiastas do Clube de Golf dos Arquitectos.
