North Delegation – Estela

With a slight breeze from the Northwest, but on a morning conducive to an excellent golf day, the North Delegation of the National Association of Seniors of Golf Portugal (ANSGP) held, in mid-April, the first tournament of the 2022 Circuit. The event, which took place on the well-kept course of the Estela Golf Club, was attended by 63 golfers, who were cheerful and in a good mood, made an effort to display their full potential on the course. Armando J. Castro, with 22 points, was the Gross winner, with João Carlos Martins (36) winning the General Net. Teresa Melo Cabral (32) was the best among the Ladies, and Carlos A. Rodrigues, 36 points, and Alves Ferreira, 32, won the Net Super Seniors and Net Master Seniors respectively.

The special prizes were won by Benedita Mendes Ribeiro and António Moita (Longest Drive), and Leonel Seixas (Closest).

In the end, the organization made a point of thanking the excellent collaboration of the entire course staff, which is led by Marta Cruz.

Com uma ligeira brisa de Noroeste, mas numa manhã propícia a uma excelente jornada de golfe, a Delegação Norte da Associação Nacional de Seniores de Golfe Portugal (ANSGP) realizou a meio de abril, o primeiro torneio do Circuito 2022. O evento, que decorreu no bem cuidado percurso do Estela Golf Club, contou com a presença de 63 golfistas, que alegres e bem-dispostos, se esforçaram por colocar em campo todo o seu potencial.

Armando J. Castro, com 22 pontos, foi o vencedor Gross, com João Carlos Martins (36) a vencer o Net Geral. Teresa Melo Cabral (32) foi a melhor entre as Senhoras, e Carlos A. Rodrigues, 36 pontos, e Alves Ferreira, 32, venceram respectivamente o Net Super Seniores e o Net Master Seniores. Os prémios especiais foram conquistados por Benedita Mendes Ribeiro e António Moita (Longest Drive), e Leonel Seixas (Closest).

No final, a organização fez questão de agradecer a excelente colaboração de todo o staff do campo, que é liderado por Marta Cruz.
