JM GOLF TROPHY - SAVOY SIGNATURE / SOCICORREIA

The 1st edition of the JM Golf Trophy Tournament – Savoy Signature / Socicorreia took place in early April at the Santo da Serra Golf Club, bringing together more than 100 golfers. With absolutely fantastic weather and the course in spectacular condition for play, the day ended with excellent socializing and promotion of the course, of the sponsors and of Madeira. The competition took place in the Individual Stable-ford Net modality (95% handicap), and simultaneously a team competition dividing the field into 54 golfers from the Socicorreia and Savoy Siganature team in the best aggregate stableford result.

In the special prizes, there was the opportunity for those who managed to make the coveted and very rare Hole in One, the prize was nothing less than 1 Rolex watch.

As for the individual results (Net), Robert Gardner (CGSS) was the big winner with a total of 42 points. Vice-Champion of this 1st edition was Carlos Tinoco (Viseu), with 41 points, and third position was achieved by Sean De Burca (Internacional) with 40 points.

In the Ladies, July Franco (CGSSl) recorded a fantastic round of 42 points, becoming the great champion of the event, with an advantage of 5 points over the home golfer Lara Vieira. In 3rd position was Evgeniya Mironosetskaya from Palheiro Golf Club with 31 points. The best Gross result (strokes) went to Lara Vieira with 75 strokes, 3 over par.

A1ª edição do Torneio JM Golf Trophy – Savoy Signature / Socicorreia decorreu no início de abril no campo do Clube de Golf Santo da Serra, reunindo mais de 100 golfistas.

Com um tempo absolutamente fantástico e o campo em condições espetaculares para a prática, o dia saldou-se por um excelente convívio e promoção do campo, dos patrocinadores e da Madeira. A competição desenrolou-se na modalidade de Individual Stableford Net (95% handicap), e em simultâneo uma competição de equipas dividindo o field em 54 golfistas da equipa Socicorreia e Savoy Siganature no melhor resultado stableford agregado. Nos prémios especiais, havia a oportunidade para quem conseguisse realizar o tão ambicionado e muito raro Hole in One, o prémio era nada mais nada menos que 1 relógio Rolex.

Nas Senhoras, July Franco (CGSSl) registou uma volta fantástica de 42 pontos, consagrando-se a grande campeã do evento, com uma vantagem de 5 pontos sob a golfista da casa Lara Vieira, na 3ª posição ficou Evgeniya Mironosetskaya do Clube de Golfe Palheiro com 31 pontos. O melhor resultado Gross (pancadas) foi para Lara Vieira com 75 pancadas 3 acima do par.
