105.ª LISBON CUP
Alkinoos Flippes (Orizonte) won against João Miguel Pereira (Aroeira) and Miguel Silveira (Miramar) in the stroke play of the oldest golf tournament in the Lisbon area, hosted by Lisbon Sports Club, and which counts for the BPI National Ranking and for the FPG Circuit. Patrícia Nunes Pedro (Lisbon) was the Gross winner and the Net winner, determined among the members of the host club, was Pedro Saldanha. On the par 69 course located in Serra da Carregueira, Alkinoos Flippes shot rounds of 71-76= 147 (+9) and won with a three shot advantage over João Miguel Pereira (78-72) and Miguel Silveira (74-76), both with 150 (+12). Francisco Silva (Belas) was in fourth place with 152 (7181) and Gabriel Sardo (Oporto), with 154 (79-75), completed the top 5.
In the Women’s event, stroke play was won by Patrícia Nunes Pedro (Lisbon), with 158 (79-79), followed by two players from Associação Quinta do Lago: Amélia Gabin, in second place, with 160 (77-83), and Filipa Capelo, third with 163 (87-76).
The Lisbon Golf Cup champion status is attributed to the winner Net among the members of the host club, which was Pedro Saldanha, with 138 (68-70) and three ‘shots’ advantage over Ahmad Wairrach 141 (70-71).
The Lisbon Cup, like the RS Yeatman Cup (by CG Miramar), the Estoril Open (CG Estoril), the Kendall Cup (Oporto GC) and the Mendes D’Almeida Cup (Vidago Palace), are the five classics of golf national championships, which, despite not being organized by the Portuguese Golf Federation, count for the national ranking.
Ogolfista do Orizonte, Alkinoos Flippes, impôs-se a João Miguel Pereira (Aroeira) e Miguel Silveira (Miramar) no stroke play do mais antigo torneio de golfe da Grande Lisboa, cujo anfitrião é o Lisbon Sports Club, e que pontua para o Ranking Nacional BPI e para o Circuito da FPG. Patrícia Nunes Pedro (Lisbon) foi a vencedora Gross e o vencedor Net, apurado entre os membros do clube anfitrião, foi Pedro Saldanha. No campo de Par 69 do percurso situado na serra da Carregueira, Alkinoos Flippes fez voltas de 71-76 para somar 147 (+9) e vencer com três de vantagem sobre João Miguel Pereira (78-72) e Miguel Silveira (74-76), ambos com 150 (+12). Na prova feminina o stroke play foi ganho por Patrícia Nunes Pedro (Lisbon), com 158 (79-79), seguida por duas jogadoras da Associação Quinta do Lago: Amélia Gabin, no segundo posto, com 160 (77-83), e Filipa Capelo, terceira com 163 (87-76).
O estatuto de campeão da Lisbon Golf Cup é atribuído ao vencedor Net entre os membros do clube anfitrião, que foi Pedro Saldanha, com scores de 138 (68-70) e três ‘shots’ de vantagem sobre Ahmad Wairrach (141, 70-71).
A Lisbon Cup, tal como a Taça RS Yeatman (do CG Miramar), o Aberto do Estoril (CG Estoril), a Taça Kendall (Oporto GC) e a Taça Mendes D’ Almeida (Vidago Palace), são as cinco clássicas do golfe nacional, que mesmo não sendo organizadas pela Federação Portugeusa de Golfe, pontuam para o ranking nacional.
