Azores Airlines prepares unprecedented route between New York and Funchal

Azores Airlines, has submitted timetables to the world's leading provider of travel data and information, for the start of a new route between New York and Funchal.

According to the information obtained, Azores Airlines filed a request to operate the JFK Funchal- New York once a week, starting in November, using the 186-seat A321neo.

Given the recovery of the tourism sector, Azores Airlines has expressed its intention to continue investing in new markets, having even recently reinforced the offer of flights between the Azores and Paris, maintaining the offer of two weekly connections until October and offering another weekly flight, on Saturday, until the end of November.
