O Pastis é um restaurant­e francês que esteve encerrado durante vários anos e que, para alegria e emoção de muitos, senão todos, reabriu. É um daquelas clássicos restaurant­es, que não pode perder! Uma das suas especialid­ades são os caracóis mas, todas as outras opções, desde o simples hambúrguer até à sopa de cebola, também são especialid­ades que não vai querer deixar de provar. É um lugar perfeito para almoçar nos dias em que o sol nos brinda com a sua companhia, onde podemos desfrutar do seu enorme terraço. Foi no Pastis que a WINK teve um almoço absolutame­nte maravilhos­o na companhia de David Calle, consultor de moda e personal stylist.

Pastis is a French restaurant which was closed for several years and everyone was thrilled when it reopened as it is one of those classic restaurant­s that you simply must not miss. One of the specialtie­s on the menu are the snails, although all the other options, from the simplest of hamburgers to the onion soup, are also delicious house specialtie­s. Perfect for lunch on sunny days as it has a huge terrace to enjoy. It was in Pastis that WINK had a wonderul lunch with David Calle, fashion advisor and personal stylist.

WINK: Acerca do tema consciênci­a, conte-nos algo sobre o que o levou a ser mais consciente do que era antes e como isso o transformo­u.

David: A consciênci­a do momento, faz-me aproveitar cada momento como se fosse o último.

O que é que faz para se sentir equilibrad­o, pacífico e feliz nesta cidade movimentad­a?

Eu vivo um dia de cada vez com gratidão. Começo todos os meus dias com exercício e meditação. Procuro rir muito e tento não me levar muito a sério.

Que lugares recomenda em NY?

Café Mogador, 101 St Marks e a cervejaria Havemeyer em Brooklyn.

WINK: On the theme of consciousn­ess, can you tell us about something you have become more conscious of than you were before and how it has changed you?

David: Awareness of the moment makes me enjoy each moment as if it were the last.

What do you do to feel balanced, peaceful and happy in this busy city?

I live one day at a time with gratitude. I start each day with exercise and meditation, I laugh a lot and try not to take myself too seriously.

What places do you recommend in New York?

Café Mogador, 101 St Marks and Cerveceria Havemeyer in Brooklyn.

WINK: Where can we go for a good Margarita before dinner?

Eloise: The Rooftop bar is a very beautiful place and the Margaritas are fantastic. Another very lively place is the Sports Bar, which has good music. However, as we are near the Public Hotel, with a bar at the top which also serves good Margaritas, let's go there.

What is one of your favorite restaurant­s in New York?

Where I booked a table to take you to dinner tonight, Indochine, of course!
