O Universo é um vasto aglomerado de estados de consciência. Espírito e Consciência são sinónimos. A Consciência traduz-se por actividade inteligente, amor, compreensão e vontade. A Consciência define-se como a faculdade de captar; diz respeito, principalmente, à relação que discernimos entre o Eu e o não-Eu, ou o que se conhece e quem o conhece, o pensamento e quem emite o pensar, sendo esta captação mental que define a diferença. Na realidade, esta é a discriminação que nos esclarece sobre a dualidade desse Eu. Sem esta dualidade não perceberíamos a existência da Consciência. O pensamento já é um produto da Consciência.

Ser consciente é ser desperto, atento, portanto, é dizer Eu

Sou, eu existo. De facto, a célebre frase de Descartes é uma máxima da realidade da consciência – “Eu penso, logo existo”. A Consciência é, acima de tudo, o produto da Unidade, ou Consciência Cósmica e, quando o Espírito se individualiza, toma posse da matéria ou corpo físico, criando esta ponte (a Consciência) para seu uso, pois Ele é inteligência activa.

Assim, a individualização humana começa pela compreensão consciente por parte do Eu, e na relação com o todo. Em cada grau do despertar da Consciência, segue-se um período de gradual desenvolvimento até a um momento instantâneo de autorrealização, o qual será seguido novamente de evolução gradual, após a culminação do que se aprendeu em certo período de tempo. Este momento de apreensão do que já foi vivido, portanto, realizado ao nível humano e espiritual, constitui uma absorção mental iniciática, onde se dá conta do que já evoluiu, quanto à sua expansão de Consciência. É um momento gratificante de autorrealização e compreensão do Divino pela experiência mística, que surge espontaneamente. É o culminar de um esforço no caminho da evolução da Consciência.

Deste modo, desde o Espírito são criados certos patamares mentais com os corpos etéricos que vão, gradualmente, descendo até ao corpo físico, coordenados pelo próprio Espírito, dispensando por etapas a inteligência-consciência. Esta “descida” do Espírito através dos corpos subtis ou planos de consciência, estabelece a sua vontade expressando-se como Consciência.

O objectivo de vida em cada

Ser consiste em realizar e levar adiante um propósito definido – é por esse propósito que se deve desenvolver uma forma adequada física, mental e psíquica para uso do Espírito – isto uma vez compreendido, dá-nos a razão ou a necessidade de levar uma vida digna e responsável, num objectivo que merece o melhor dos nossos esforços. E este esforço na busca por uma vida mais pura em ideais elevados, marca a diferença dos níveis de Consciência entre os seres. Por conseguinte, pelo reconhecimento dos próprios interesses, gradualmente, conduz também ao reconhecimento dos outros, num trabalho mais consciente para o bem do grupo ou ordem social da qual faz parte; assim, o bem aos outros surge a partir do seu próprio bem. Há centros do corpo humano, principalmente o cérebro que evolui, geralmente por um desenvolvimento lento e normal, mas por outro, ocorre no período em que o Ser já possui aspirações espirituais e, de forma consciente aplica a sua vontade na própria evolução, dando assim, um carácter construtivo à sua vida. Uma das forças para o homem/mulher desenvolver é o poder mental equilibrado na busca da autorrealização, ou ligação à Unidade. Nesta sintonia desenvolve maior sensibilidade, harmonizado numa vibração mais elevada, mais refinada e a um ritmo diferente, regido mais pelo aspecto da vontade e, não tanto pelas emoções e desejos. Desta forma, para elevar a mente aos planos superiores ou morada do Espírito, será requerida a autodisciplina, controlo mental e refinamento dos corpos físicos e subtis, podendo então resultar em maior irradiação do coração, portanto, à abertura do amor incondicional. É desta forma que se completa o aperfeiçoamento da vida ou da personalidade, que então, conduz às portas de iniciações maiores, sinal de que se realizou o trabalho, marcando um fim de um ciclo menor, para começo e transferência de outro, numa espiral mais elevada.

Ser, com infinitas graduações e atitudes para se integrar, inteligentemente, numa Consciência Universal, rumo à Cósmica, numa escalada independente e pessoal, pois só assim, se tornará responsável pelas suas acções e pensamentos.

discern between the self and the non-self, or what is known and who knows it, thought and who emits thinking, it is this mental capture that defines the difference. In reality, it is this discrimination that enlightens us on the duality of that self. Without this duality we would not be aware of the existence of consciousness. Thought itself is a product of consciousness.

To be conscious is to be awake, attentive and therefore, it is to say “I am, I exist”. In fact, Descartes' famous phrase is a maxim of the reality of consciousness –

“I think, therefore I am”. Above all, consciousness is the product of unity or cosmic consciousness, and when the spirit becomes individuated, it takes possession of matter or a physical body, creating this bridge (consciousness) for its use, because It is active intelligence.

Thus, human individuation begins with a conscious understanding of the self and the whole. With each step in the awakening of consciousness, there follows a period of gradual development until a sudden moment of selfrealization, which will be followed again by gradual evolution, after the culmination of what has been learned over a certain period of time. This moment of apprehension regarding what has already been lived, therefore, carried out at a human and spiritual level, constitutes initial mental absorption, where one realizes how one has already evolved, in the expansion of one's consciousness. It is a gratifying moment of self-realization and understanding of the Divine

through mystical experience, which arises spontaneously. It is the culmination of the work towards the evolution of consciousness.

This way, from the spirit, certain mental levels are created with etheric bodies that gradually descend to the physical body, coordinated by the spirit itself, dispensing intelligenceconsciousness in stages. This “descent” of the spirit through the subtle bodies or levels of consciousness, establishes its will by expressing itself as consciousness.

The life objective of beings is to carry out and fulfill a defined purpose. It is for this purpose that an adequate physical, mental and psychic form must be developed for use by the Spirit . Once this is understood, it gives us a reason or need to lead a dignified and responsible life, an objective that deserves our best efforts. This effort in search for a purer life of high ideals, marks the difference in the levels of consciousness of beings. Consequently, the recognition of one's own interests, will gradually lead to the recognition of others, in a more conscious work for the benefit of the group or social order of which one is a part. There are centres of the human body that evolve, mainly the brain that does so usually due to slow and normal development, but on the other hand, it also occurs when the being already has spiritual aspirations and consciously applies their will in their own evolution, thus making their life more constructive. One of the strengths to be developed is balanced mental power in search of self-realization, or connection to unity. With this harmony, one develops greater sensitivity, harmonized in a higher, more refined vibration and at a different pace, governed more by will than by emotions and desires. Thus, in order to elevate the mind to higher planes or the abode of the spirit, self-discipline, mental control and refinement of the physical and subtle bodies will be required, which may then result in greater irradiation of the heart, therefore, to the opening up of unconditional love. This way, the improvement of life or personality is completed, which then leads to the doors to greater initiations, a sign that the work has been done, marking the end of a smaller cycle, and the beginning and transfer to another, on a more elevated spiral. To become more and more conscious is the life purpose of beings, with infinite degrees and attitudes to integrate, intelligently, in a universal consciousness, towards the cosmic, in an independent and personal quest, because only then, will one become responsible for one's thoughts and actions.
