Lincoln 2020 Corsair and 2020 Aviator:

the Revitalizing Power of Traveling in a Luxury Sanctuary

-

Arelaxed journey in a spacious and elegant sanctuary is what passengers will enjoy in the all-new 2020 Corsair and 2020 Aviator, with which Lincoln completes its line of luxury SUVs .

Its spacious cabins with visually relaxing designs contribute to the sense of tranquility that is paramount in both SUVs, both in the compact two-seat Corsair, as in the medium of three seats, Aviator. Inside, hand-built with carefully selected materials, attention to detail is part of the design language that communicates Lincoln's characteristic luxury.

Both vehicles offer advanced driver-assist features with the Lincoln Co-Pilot360™ platform. It provides Pre-Collision Assist with automatic emergency braking, Blind Spot Detection with Cross-Traffic Alert, a Lane-Keeping System, rear backup camera and auto high-beam headlamps, among others.

Also available is Co-Pilot360 Plus, which adds Adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, Evasive steering assist, Reverse brake assist and Active park assist.

On the other hand, the Lincoln WayTM app allows owners to lock and unlock, open the liftgate and, most importantly, find and start the vehicle with their smartphones. This application also allows them to obtain key information about the vehicle, such as fuel level, tire pressure, oil status and maintenance information, among other details.

The technology is also integrated for connection and entertainment on board Corsair and Aviator through the SYNC® 3 system compatible with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™, with 8-inch touch screen in Corsair and 10-inch touch screen in Aviator. To keep passengers connected, vehicles have a wireless charging platform available located in the center armrest of the front row, while a convenient multimedia compartment is available for the front row passenger. Multiple power outlets throughout the cabin keep occupants connected wherever the journey may take them.

The Lincoln Drive Modes system is one of several intuitive options to seamlessly customize the on-board drive experience on both vehicles, according to the driver's desire or what the road conditions require. Both offer five driving modes to operate in Normal, Conserve, Excite,

Slippery and Deep conditions.

An available Revel® Ultima 3D Audio System re-creates an authentic concert-hall experience by immersing occupants in rich, superior sound. Placement, tuning, calibration and the number of Revel speakers are all unique to each Lincoln vehicle, designed to ensure audio quality and accuracy for each cabin size and acoustics.

Standard electronic alerts that inform drivers of everything that happens in the car have been replaced in these two models by unique symphonic chimes recorded by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, adding a unique touch to the trip.

For added comfort and well-being, Corsair and Aviator offer Perfect Position seats with up to 24 and 30 positions respectively, massage capability and additional lumbar support for driver and front passenger.

Lincoln Corsair: Refined Power

Staying true to its Quiet Flight DNA, Corsair is engineered to deliver the effortless drive experience and sensation of gliding over the road. Two turbocharged four-cylinder engine options are available – a standard 2.0-liter with a targeted 245 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque and an available 2.3-liter with a targeted 285 horsepower and 305 lb.-ft. of torque. Each is mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission to ensure the best performance.

Corsair features a Lincoln-first rear integral bush suspension, which delivers a smooth ride by directly absorbing impacts that would otherwise be felt in the cabin.

Lincoln’s intelligent all-wheel-drive system, available with both engines, allows for enhanced all-weather capabilities and bold performance. It optimizes efficiency by seamlessly switching between front- and all-wheel drive, resulting in confidence behind the wheel and an enhanced ride for passengers.

Painstakingly sculpted, Corsair –inspired by the Latin word “cursus” meaning journey– features an artistic contouring in its exterior design that integrates delicate "S" shaped silhouettes inspired by the beauty of the human movement.

To ensure a pleasant and hushed ride, a dual-wall dashboard in the engine compartment provides an additional barrier and reduces vibration in the cabin.

Second-row passengers will enjoy more legroom and flexibility thanks to the sliding seats that offer up to six additional inches.

Lincoln Aviator: Aerodynamic Sanctuary

Based on a rear-wheel-drive architecture, Aviator offers a compelling combination of performance, capability and choice, with intelligent all-wheel drive available.

The standard twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, paired with a new 10-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission, delivers 400 horsepower and 400 ft.-lbs. of torque for effortless acceleration.

Complementing the impressive powertrain performance, Aviator offers an advanced suspension which components include:

Adaptive Suspension, which uses a suite of 12 sensors that constantly monitor vehicle motion, body movement, steering, acceleration and braking activities. These sensors read the road 500 times per second and can automatically prompt setting adjustments up to 100 times per second. The suspension’s advanced pothole mitigation can sense when a wheel is dropping into a severe dip and stiffens the shock absorber to reduce the amount of drop, lessening the harshness of a tire strike. Each wheel responds independently, allowing the vehicle to tailor its response to any given road surface. Adaptive Suspension with Road Preview, which uses the forward-facing camera to read the road nearly 50 feet ahead to look for height deviations between two and eight inches and adjust the suspension to mitigate any unpleasant impact.

Air Glide Suspension, which offers the highest level of refinement by replacing traditional coil springs with guided air springs, enabling several preset ride heights for increased comfort and capability. Air Glide Suspension automatically lowers the vehicle to greet the driver, adding a new level of sophistication to Lincoln’s welcome embrace, and makes loading cargo easier as well.

On the other hand, driving at night is made effortless with available Adaptive Pixel LED Headlamps, which allow the pattern of the beams to change, enabling two additional lighting technologies: Adaptive dynamic bending lighting, through which the vehicle reads the road and predicts where light is needed, allowing the headlamps to instantly adjust or bend; and Speed-dependent lighting, which adjusts the intensity of the beam based on the speed of the vehicle; at faster speeds, light is directed to the road, while at slower speeds, headlamps adjust to illuminate more areas in front of the vehicle.

The boundless allure of flight has long inspired automotive design, and the exterior styling of the all-new Lincoln Aviator takes that inspiration to the next level. The connotations of flight are intrinsic in the strong front and tapering rear of the vehicle, creating a distinct aerofoil analogy.

Its ergonomically advanced steering wheel adds to the effortless ambience through four-way switches at strategic positions to control music, phone and available navigation functions, in addition to settings.

Aviator's second row seats are flexible; they fold, adjust forward and backward, lean and slide forward to facilitate access to the third row.

The third row provides ample seating and can be folded flat to create plenty of room for cargo. When left up, Aviator offers best-in-class cargo volume behind the second row.
