Ar­ti­cle by prin­ci­pal of DPS-MIS gets pub­lished

An ar­ti­cle ‘Be­ing A Peo­ple’s Prin­ci­pal – Keep­ing peo­ple at the heart of de­ci­sion mak­ing’ writ­ten by Asna Nafees, Prin­ci­pal of DPS-Mod­ern In­dian School (DPS-MIS), re­cently got pub­lished in ed­u­ca­tion­ists’ mag­a­zine Men­tor-A Mat­ter of Prin­ci­pal, an ini­tia­tive by LXL Ideas. The mag­a­zine was re­leased at 31st CBSE Gulf Prin­ci­pals’ Con­fer­ence, un­der the aegis of Coun­cil of CBSE Af­fil­i­ated Schools in the Gulf re­gion, held in Bengaluru, In­dia. The ar­ti­cle high­lighted the im­por­tance of demo­cratic lead­er­ship that helps in build­ing hu­man re­la­tion­ships. Shar­ing her own ex­pe­ri­ences as a prin­ci­pal, Asna stressed on the pre-req­ui­sites of this ex­em­plary lead­er­ship and sug­gested ways to cre­ate a happy school for the well-rounded de­vel­op­ment of the stu­dents.
