QRCS donates two ambulances to PRCS

-

Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has delivered two fully equipped ambulances to the ambulance centre of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in AlQuds.

With 14 standard ambulances, the ambulance centre is the PRCS’s largest in the city.

This donation will enhance the capacity of the centre to respond to medical emergencies in Al-Quds and other Palestinian cities, where these facilities are much needed. Every month, the centre serves up to 650 cases. It is part of an extensive programme funded and implemented by QRCS to uphold PRCS’s Ambulance and Emergency Division in Al-Quds, according to a press statement. Aside from ambulances, the programme also involves securing medicines, medical equipment and consumables.

With this support, the ambulances and personnel “will be well prepared to offer optimised medical services, deal with emergencies in a timely manner and reach out to all Palestinian territories, particularly in areas of clash”, the statement adds.
