Road in front of Gulf, Ezdan malls closed

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that the service road in front of Gulf and Ezdan malls, running parallel to Shamal Road, will be closed from today.

The closure, which is required to enable the construction works of bridges on the Umm Lekhba Interchange, will be carried out in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.

Road users heading towards Ezdan Mall should use Al Oyoun Street towards the diversion street behind the malls, Ashghal said in a statement.

The authority will install road signs to guide road users to alternative routes.

It has also requested all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
