MEC announces discounted air freight for camping market

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in co-operation with Qatar Airways, has announced discounted air freight prices for the shipment of goods of companies participating in the second edition of the Seasonal Market for Camping.

The initiative falls in line with its efforts to support and encourage companies to participate in this year’s edition of the market, the MEC has said in a statement.

All local, regional and international companies wishing to participate in the seasonal camping market can benefit from the discounted air freight prices.

The market, which will be held from October 24 to December 1 on Al Rifaa Street, will feature all camping supplies in one site, in addition to providing a space and public services for participating companies free of charge.

In addition, the market is characterised by a privileged location, open spaces, a recreational area and a special area for productive families, it adds.

The market allows visitors, camp owners and camping enthusiasts to buy the necessary equipment, featuring all companies specialised in camping supplies in one location.
