16 Palestinia­ns held

Israeli occupation forces launched yesterday a largescale arrest campaign targeting 16 Palestinia­ns, including children and freed prisoners from various parts of the West Bank.

According to Palestinia­n News Agency, the occupation forces arrested a youth from Al-Azza camp north of Bethlehem and two other youths, one of them a released prisoner Rami Ayman Sharida, from Tubas city.

Two other Palestinia­ns were arrested by the occupation forces after raiding their homes in Qalqiliya city.

In Hebron, Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinia­ns, including a child from Al-Arroub refugee camp. They also arrested the released prisoner Maher al-Atrash after raiding his house in Halhoul town, north of Hebron, and another Palestinia­n from Yatta town, south of Hebron.

In Tulkarem, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man after raiding his house in Shuwaika neighbourh­ood, north of Tulkarm. In Salfit city, the Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinia­ns, including the released prisoner Hussam Anis Harb.
