Amir, Kuwait Amir hold talks to bolster ties
Amir attends Iftar banquet at Dasman Palace
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met yesterday at Dasman Palace with the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah.
At the outset of the meeting, the Amir exchanged Ramadan greetings with the Kuwaiti Amir. The two leaders also reviewed the strong fraternal bonds and deep ties that unite the two countries and the two brotherly peoples and the means to support and promote these ties.
The meeting also dealt with a host of topics of mutual interest in addition to regional and international developments.
His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir, and members of the delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir attended the meeting.
On the Kuwaiti side, the meeting was attended by the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmed, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Khaled al-Jarrah al-Sabah and a number of Kuwaiti Sheikhs and senior officials.

Earlier upon arrival at Kuwait International Airport for a brotherly visit to Kuwait, His Highness the Amir was welcomed by the Amir of Kuwait.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani left Kuwait yesterday evening after his brotherly visit to Kuwait.
His Highness the Amir and the delegation accompanying him were seen off upon departure at Kuwait International Airport by Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.
