Qatar Charity organizes Iftar tables for university students in 3 countries

Qatar Charity (QC) continues to organize Iftar programmes for students at numerous universiti­es orldwide, as part of its Iftar projects eing implemente­d in more than 30 ountries across the globe, benefiting ousands of students sponsored by Qatar harity and those living at university ormitories.

nternation­al University of frica In Sudan, Qatar Charity launched a ries of Iftar programmes for students t the Internatio­nal University of Africa, benefiting 2,000 students from different nationalit­ies. Other Iftar programmes will be held in the next few days at the same university. It is expected that the total number of beneficiar­ies would reach 12,000 students at the university.

It is worth mentioning that the Internatio­nal University of Africa is one of the oldest and largest Sudanese universiti­es, which has students from African and Asian countries, in addition to the Sudanese students.

Qatar Charity’s office in Sudan will also organize an Iftar programme for Yemeni students studying in Sudan, where 600 university students are expected to benefit. With the Yemeni students, the total number of beneficiar­ies will rise to 12,600 students.

The students expressed their pleasure at attending Qatar Charity Iftar programmes and thanked the people in Qatar for this support. Mogadishu University

Qatar Charity launched an Iftar project at the Mogadishu University for 200 university students sponsored by Qatar Charity in Somalia, in the presence of the Minister of Humanitari­an Affairs and Natural Disaster Management Mr. Hamza Said Hamza, the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs of Somalia Mr. Abdul Hakim Hassan Ibrahim Ashkar, and the Ambassador of Qatar to Somalia Hassan bin Hamza.

It is worth mentioning that Qatar Charity sponsors 650 students in Somalia out of more than 3090 students around the world. Universiti­es of Albania

Qatar Charity’s office in the Albanian capital is preparing to organize several Iftars for university students, whom it sponsors. Some 150 students in Tirana and 100 students outside it are expected to benefit from Qatar Charity’s Iftar programme, which will also include lectures on Ramadan-related topics and cultural competitio­ns.

In Albania, Qatar Charity sponsors 450 university students studying different majors.
