Kuwait’s PM meets FM

Kuwait’s Prime Min­is­ter Sheikh Sabah Khalid al-Ha­mad al-Sabah met yes­ter­day with HE the Deputy Prime Min­is­ter and Min­is­ter of For­eign Af­fairs Sheikh Mo­hamed bin Ab­dul­rah­man al-Thani on the side­lines of Mu­nich Security Con­fer­ence. The meet­ing dealt with re­view­ing bi­lat­eral re­la­tions, in ad­di­tion to dis­cussing is­sues of joint in­ter­est.

HE the Deputy Prime Min­is­ter and Min­is­ter of For­eign Af­fairs Sheikh Mo­hamed bin Ab­dul­rah­man al-Thani par­tic­i­pated yes­ter­day in the open­ing of the 56th Mu­nich Security Con­fer­ence which saw a wide par­tic­i­pa­tion of high-level in­ter­na­tional de­ci­sion-mak­ers. The three-day con­fer­ence dis­cusses cur­rent in­ter­na­tional chal­lenges, fu­ture security pol­icy chal­lenges, and other im­por­tant re­gional and in­ter­na­tional is­sues. On the side­lines of the con­fer­ence, HE Sheikh Mo­hamed met sep­a­rately with Cana­dian Min­is­ter of For­eign Af­fairs Fran­cois-Philippe Cham­pagne, Kyr­gyz Min­is­ter of For­eign Af­fairs Chin­giz Ai­dar­bekov and a num­ber of of­fi­cials and heads of com­pa­nies and in­sti­tu­tions. The meet­ings re­viewed co-op­er­a­tion re­la­tions, in ad­di­tion to is­sues of com­mon con­cern.
