Golden shower trees in full bloom

Cassia fistula, commonly called golden shower tree, has bloomed in many locations across Doha, providing a visual treat. The small- to mediumsized tree typically grows to 3040’ tall in an upright form often open at the top. Native to India, Malaysia and southeast Asia, cassia fistula produces a bloom of yellow flowers in May-June/ July.
