Qatari medical aid reaches India
A shipment of medical aid from Qatar to India arrived on Thursday at New Delhi airport on board a Qatar Amiri Air Force aircraft to support India’s current efforts to address the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Qatari aid was received by India’s Ministry of External Affairs’ Gulf Division director Avtar Singh, Qatar embassy acting charge d’affaires Ali bin Mohamed al-Badi, and second secretary Rashid bin Ali al-Marri. The Qatari aid to India contained therapeutic drugs, medical devices, and various medical consumables, the most important of which are 4,300 Remdesivir pack for injection, 200 oxygen concentrators, and 40 ventilators.
