Woqod opens petrol station in Nuaija

Qatar Fuel (Woqod) recently opened a petrol station in the Nuaija area as part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans to serve every area in Qatar.

Managing director and chief executive Saad Rashid al-Muhannadi said: “Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenienc­e and comfort.”

The new petrol station is spread over an area of 2,100sq m and has two lanes with four dispensers for light vehicles, which will serve the Nuaija area and its neighbourh­ood.

The Nuaija station offers round-the-clock services and includes a Sidra convenienc­e store and sale of Shafaf LPG cylinders, in addition to gasoline products for light vehicles.

Woqod is currently overseeing the implementa­tion of three new fuel stations, most of which are expected to be operationa­l before the year-end.
