Qatar condemns Istanbul bombing

Qatar has strongly condemned the bombing in the Taksim area of Istanbul leaving a number of people and injuring. In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons. It affirmed Qatar’s full solidarity and standing by the government and people of Turkey, and its full support for all the measures it takes to maintain security and stability. The statement expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Turkey, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
