Aspire Pavilion at the ‘heart of the game’ during World Cup

Final preparations are under way at Aspire Pavilion, which is at the “Heart of the Game” with a host of activities marking the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The initiative takes place at Aspire Park from November 19 until December 18, between 3pm and 11pm, Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has announced.

The foundation has given the details of 10 sports events that have been organised for the entire community to enjoy amid a special sports atmosphere, as well as seven artistic and theatrical performance, in addition to a sports exhibition on the journey of Qatari football from 1960 to 2022.

Activities

Foot golf: Players try and kick a ball into a hole in as few shots as possible.

Target Wall: Players have to kick the ball through holes with different values – each player will get three chances to amass as many points as possible. Connect 4 – Kick and Aim: Kick the ball accurately into the right pocket to win.

4 In a Line: Like the game of Connect 4, the aim is to get four balls of the same colour in a row to win.

Skee Ball: Players must kick the ball into the pockets. The player with highest points wins the game.

Fooseball Tables: A table-top game based on football. The aim of the game is to control players to score goals while preventing the opponent from scoring.

Foot Pool: The player uses a white ball to strike other coloured balls in order to put them in ‘pockets’. Players of each batch will get two chances to play.

VR Game: Virtual Reality football-based games with screens and Wi-Fi.

Sub Soccer: Sit and enjoy playing the football just by using your feet.

Jump like Ronaldo: Can you jump as high as Cristiano Ronaldo?

Shows

Tanoura Dance: Two shows daily – except on weekends. African Dance: Two shows on weekends. Philippines Dance: Two shows on weekends.

Mascots Parade: Two shows daily – except on weekends. Football juggler: Two shows daily.

Bollywood Dance: Two shows on weekends. Traditional Ardha: Two shows on Qatar National Day.

The event also includes the Aspire Zone Foundation Pavilion, which highlights its continuing role in raising the quality of sports in Qatar, as well as community health awareness by Aspetar that includes healthy lifestyle awareness, education zone, medical check up zone and physically active zone.

The event aims to give visitors an exceptional experience that will be remembered by the public during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
