Spanish ambassador hails Qatar efforts
Spanish ambassador in Doha, Javier Carbajosa Sanchez, has praised the great efforts by Qatar to ensure the success of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and to provide a distinguished tournament full of wonderful events. In an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the ambassador said: “I have no doubt that Qatar will fully deliver, and that we will enjoy a stunning World Cup competition. Congratulations to Qatar, and let the games begin!
“The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is, without any doubt, a major sport event, as it is the first edition to happen in an Arab country. It will draw the world’s attention for more than a month and be followed live by hundreds of millions of people,” he added.
Ambassador Sanchez, on his behalf and on behalf of the Spanish community living in Qatar, expressed happiness with Qatar’s commitment and its continuous emphasis on welcoming all visitors without discrimination, stressing: “I would like to share our excitement and anticipation to be a part of the celebrations surrounding the World Cup in Qatar.”
