CMC chairman appreciates all efforts towards making World Cup a success

Central Municipal Council (CMC) chairman Mohamed bin Hamoud alShafi has highly appreciated the country’s achievements in completing all preparations ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

He further appreciated the efforts by the various entities and authorities with the private sector to show the country at its best to produce the best tournament in the history of the FIFA World Cup. Al-Shafi said he expects this edition to be exceptional in all positive respects, and that he considers this as a historic achievement that has also helped develop the country’s public facilities, services and infrastructure according the highest global standards.

He expressed his belief that the country is fully ready to receive huge numbers of fans and visitors from around the world.
