Aspire launches ‘Heart of the Game’ to join World Cup fever
The Aspire Zone Foundation has joined the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 celebrations, launching yesterday the “Heart of the Game” with a host of activities at Aspire Pavilion in Aspire Park.
To be run until December 18, daily from 3pm-11pm, the activities are for families.
The “Heart of the Game” features 10 sports events for all communities, seven theatrical performances, and a sports exhibition on Qatar’s football journey from 1960 to 2022.
The activities are “Foot Golf”, “Target Wall”, “Connect 4 – Kick and Aim”, “4 In a Line”, “Skee Ball”, “Foosball”, “Foot Pool”, VR games, “Sub Soccer”, and “Jump like Ronaldo”.
There will be Tanoura Dance with two performances daily – except on weekends, African, Philippines and Bollywood dances with two shows each on weekends, Mascots Parade with two shows daily – except on weekends, Football Juggler with two shows daily, and Traditional Ardha with two shows on Qatar National Day.
The event encompasses the Aspire Zone Foundation pavilion, which highlights its continuing role in raising the quality of sports in Qatar, as well as community health awareness by Aspetar that includes an education zone, a medical check-up zone, and a “physically active” zone.
