GCC fans support Qatar
Anumber of GCC fans have expressed their support for Qatar hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, stressing that it will be an exceptional edition of the tournament and will create a lasting legacy for the region to be proud of for many years to come.
They told local Arabic daily Arrayah that they were confident that Qatar will show the world the best-ever edition of the greatest sports event in the world as the country has allocated huge capabilities for this event and made all necessary preparations on a grandiose scale.
They also vociferously denounced the unjustified campaigns launched by some suspicious entities to shame the world event and spoil the fun and entertainment awaiting fans from around the world. They further expressed their belief that such campaigns will never succeed.
Ibrahim al-Qahtani, from Saudi Arabia, pointed out that he has seen firsthand the great capabilities of the country and the massive preparations for the event. He said all GCC citizens support the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and are confident of its resounding success. He also wished success for both the Qatari and Saudi teams.
Salem al-Katheri, from Oman, stressed that the organisation of the FIFA World Cup is a great achievement for both Qatar and the Arab world besides the GCC countries and the entire Middle East region. He pointed out that the great preparations that every fans sees in Qatar reflects the massive efforts exerted by the country over the years to produce an exceptional event.
“We wish all success and excellence for our brothers in Qatar and extend our full support for them against all the unjust and unjustifiable campaigns meant to spoil the joy and success of the event,” he said.
Twaish al-Ktheri, from Oman, said that he has been a regular visitor of Doha, and in particular loves to go to Souq Waqif, considering it among the best heritage sites in the country.
He pointed out that Qatar had allocated massive resources to prepare for the FIFA World Cup, and has managed things impressively. All the campaigns against the country are based on lies and misleading false sources of information, he stressed. He added that he believes Qatar will make history and introduce the world football fans to a new world of entertainment and amazement.
Nasser al-Sanani, from Oman, said Qatar has introduced world fans to a very easy and hassle free travel and entry procedures and the preparations on the ground are amazing and reflect the deep routed heritage of the place.
