Kuwaiti cabinet lauds Amir’s invitation to students to World Cup

The Kuwaiti Cabinet has expressed thanks and appreciation for the generous initiative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, to invite Kuwaiti students from the “Balat Al-Shuhada” High School for Boys, to attend one of the matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. During its weekly meeting yesterday, chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah, the Cabinet expressed its sincere appreciation, on behalf of the government and people of Kuwait, for this invitation, which came after a video of these students celebrating the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 202 went viral. The Cabinet said it recalls the fraternal positions that unite the two countries and the brotherly peoples with the bonds of brotherhood and good relations, asking God Almighty to the sisterly State of Qatar more achievements and success.
