Mercedes-Benz model recalled

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, has announced the recall of MercedesBenz GLS, 2020-2022 models, as the springs in the locking mechanism of the seat backrest on the third-row seat may not have been installed in accordance with factory specifications, causing a possible failure in the locking function.

The recall campaign comes within the framework of the MoCI’s continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.

The MoCI said that it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
