QC receives in-kind donations from football organisation QFA
Sports equipment and clothing were included in donations, which are part of the social responsibility of QFA
QATAR Charity has received in-kind donations from the Qatar Football Association (QFA) for the benefit of workers. In addition, Qatar Charity (QC) has recently distributed winter bags to workers.
The in-kind donations, which are part of QFA’s social responsibility, included sports equipment and clothing of varying sizes.
Ali Al Salat Al Salat, Head of Media at QFA, welcomed the efforts of Qatar Charity to implement humanitarian and charitable projects in Qatar and around the world. He said that QFA made donations in kind, believing that the investment of redundant resources is essential and positive.
Al Salat added that such donations contribute to the support of Qatar Charity for workers and low-income families, noting QFA’s previous contribution to Qatar Charity’s humanitarian efforts. He also affirmed the desire of QFA to participate in community activities with relevant bodies, including Qatar Charity, in order to bring about a positive change in society.
Qatar Charity looks forward to working together and cooperating with all organisations and individuals across the country to contribute to the achievement of the noble humanitarian objectives. This donation is part of a strong and continuous partnership between Qatar Charity and QFA for community service.
Qatar Charity receives donations in kind from individuals and institutions, including clothing, shoes, toys, furniture and electronic appliances, for the benefit of low-income workers and families.
Qatar Charity distributed winter bags to workers to help meet their basic winter needs. The bags included in the Qatar Charity’s “Warmth and Peace” campaign included clothing, jackets, shoes and other winter items. During this winter, Qatar Charity is expected to distribute winter bags in other parts of the country.
