BPS appoints new principal
BIRLA Public School, Doha has announced a change in its leadership as AP Sharma has resigned from the position of principal and has handed over the mantle to Harish Sanduja as academic director principal.
Sanduja is an academician of repute with a wide range of experience of more than 25 years. Before joining Birla Public School (BPS), he was director of Seth Anandram Jaipuria (SAJS) Group of Schools in North India.
He was instrumental in establishing Saamarthya Teachers Training Academy of Research (STTAR).
He has also served many years as director of SAI International Residential School, Cuttak and principal-director of SAI International School, Bhubaneswar, which is ranked as number one school in dayboarding category by Education World 2020.
Sanduja has been the director of The Shri Ram Aspen Leadership School and also held the post of the vice-principal, Senior School, of The Shri Ram School, Gurgaon.
A learner at heart, Sanduja has a postgraduate in Mathematics with professional degree in education and has completed Value Based Leadership Programme for Educational Leaders from IIM Kolkata.
With a vast experience of various boards like CBSE, ICSE/ISC and IB, he is also a trainer for CBSE, CISCE and the Aga Khan Foundation.
Sanduja was a Fellow of the UK India Education Research Initiative and has received various awards for his work in the field of education.
The BPS fraternity has expressed its gratitude for the contributions rendered by AP Sharma during his tenure since 2017 and has wished him the best for his future endeavours.
