Talabat’s ‘tDine’ celebrates its 1st anniversary

- TRIBUNE NEWS NETWORK

TALABAT, Qatar’s leading food delivery and q-commerce platform, is celebrating the first anniversary of tDine, its dine-in membership. OVER the last year, tDine has been a significant boost to dining-in businesses across Qatar, encouraging consumers to enjoy the experience of eating at restaurants by offering a range of privileges that involve buy-one-get-one and other discount deals.

tDine was introduced as a win-win situation to help participating restaurants recover from a decline in dine-in customers due to the pandemic, while doubling down on affordability for consumers and complements talabat’s overall priority towards the F&B industry.

Additionally, while helping the restaurant ecosystem resume operations after COVID-19 lockdowns, talabat introduced takeaway as a tdine feature during strict restrictions on dining-out so that restaurants could continue operating and serving customers.

With over 2 0 restaurants signed up and over 10,000 customers enrolled to date, tDine is on its way to becoming one of the top diningout membership platforms in Qatar, partnering with various key restaurants such as Paper Moon, Carluccios, Cucina, Outback Steakhouse, Reem Al Bawadi and Wendy’s.

Francisco Miguel de Sousa, managing director of talabat Qatar, strongly believes tDine supports talabat’s restaurant partners and helps them continue serving their customers. “tDine is part of our continued push to assist the recovery of the F&B sector. Through feedback received from our restaurant partners during the ongoing pandemic, dine-in solutions, and greater access to cashflow were top priority. Of course, we listened.”

With over 260 restaurants signed up and over 10,000 customers enrolled to date, tDine is on its way to becoming one of the top dining-out membership platforms in Qatar

tDine provides a dine-in solution where customers can receive greater affordability at restaurants through either a buy-one-get-one-free scenario, or a flat percentage off, while restaurants get that much needed footfall through the door.

“Earlier this year, we also increased our payment cycles to our partners to three days - rather than 15 or 30 days and we are the only app which offers this benefit. This has greatly aided their cashflow, allowing them to have cash on hand to stimulate their growth. We are truly proud to see how these initiatives have contributed to both our restaurant partners’ successes and our greater affordability for our customers”, added Francisco Miguel De Sousa.

tDine is available on the talabat platform with a free trial of 3-months, followed by a -month membership for QR 99.

Consumers can subscribe to tDine through talabat by downloading the talabat app on iOS Appstore or Google Play.
