QIB customer wins QR100,000 in ‘Cards Summer Spends’ promotion
A Qatar Islamic Bank customer has won QR100,000 in an electronic draw held to pick the grand prize winner of the bank’s “Cards Summer Spends” promotion.
The winner, Aisha Atia, was selected through a random draw that took place in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and QIB. Atia’s son, Hazem Othman Abdelmajieed, received the prize on her behalf.
QIB launched the ‘Cards Summer Spends’ promotion for its Mastercard credit and debit cardholders.
Customers who used their QIB Mastercard debit card internationally or Mastercard credit card locally or internationally between June 1 and August 31, 2021, were automatically qualified to win prizes.
Commenting on her grand prize win, Aisha Atia said: “I have been banking with QIB a long time ago and I am grateful to them for their continuous efforts in offering wonderful opportunities to win valuable prizes. I cannot thank QIB enough for this reward and for helping me achieving my goals.”
During the campaign period, a total of 13 QIB Mastercard cardholders received weekly cash prizes of QR25,000 each. QIB Mastercard cardholders had one chance for every QR5,000 weekly spend, when using their QIB-Issued Mastercard debit card internationally and their QIB Mastercard credit card locally or internationally.
