Qatar Chamber signs pact with Qatari Diar to purchase its new headquarter building
Prime property located in Commercial Boulevard in Lusail City
QATAR Chamber (QC) signed on Sunday an agreement with Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company for purchasing a new headquarter for the Chamber in the Commercial Boulevard in Lusail City.
The signing ceremony was attended by HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari.
The agreement was signed by QC Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani and Qatari Diar CEO Eng. Abdulla bin Hamad Al Attiyah on the sidelines of the opening of Cityscape Qatar at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
A number of QC board members and a leading businessman were also present at the signing ceremony.
On that occasion, Sheikh Khalifa expressed his pleasure in signing this agreement, noting that Lusail city is the city of the future and the first smart city in the region owing to its state-of-the-art infrastructure and the investment opportunities it offers for businessmen.
Sheikh Khalifa also said that the Chamber’s new headquarter coincides with the renaissance witnessed by Qatar, stressing that it will be properly
equipped to suit all the activities, services, and events provided by the Chamber to the private sector.
The Chamber’s current headquarter will be transferred to the new building after it is fully completed, he said, adding that transferring the Chamber to the Commercial Boulevard will further enhance the services it offers its members.
QC Chairman indicated that the Commercial Boulevard is one of the unique projects in Lusail City for its unique diversity as it consists of spacious buildings designed for multipurpose uses including retail, corporate offices, hotels, residential units, and convention centres.
Commending the Cityscape Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa said that it constitutes an important platform for real estate
companies to announce their new projects and communicate with potential investors in Qatar and world countries, pointing out that the Qatari real estate sector has managed to overcome the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic which affected the whole world.
On his part, Qatari Diar CEO Eng. Abdulla bin Hamad Al Attiyah said

Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, CEO of Qatari Diar, expressed his contentment for signing a purchase contract to Qatar Chamber’s new headquarters in Lusail, adding that, the Chamber’s shifting to Lusail City is an important addition to the services provided by the city in line with Qatari Diar’s vision about Lusail to become the economic capital city of the country.
