-

BIRLA Public School BPS welcomed the new academic year 2022-23 in its customary way with new professional development initiatives and lofty goals. The school works for academic excellence in Qatar in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.

This year the school launched a new proprietary initiative to bridge any learning gaps observed during the pandemic. Launched across grades 1 to 12, the initiative will be in effect for a period of two years with a continuous feedback and improvement system throughout this time period.

BPS students performed well during the pandemic and feedback from parents was universally positive.

However, the school’s senior leadership team noted that certain ideas are best transmuted in person in the classroom.

The team at

BPS is united in ensuring every student has access to the highest standards of education as observed during its past 1 years of committed service to the community.

The process involves assessing all scholastic areas with techniques such as critical analysis, learning groups etc. Teachers have been provided with special training and best practices have been shared in order to effectively address the gaps across the board. Gaps will be addressed across grade levels and in an approachable way for students.

The initiative is already under way and is part of the school’s excellence and learner centric approach. The school continues to focus on the process of learning and acquiring knowledge in addition to high achievement in internal and external examinations as a benchmark for success.
