THE Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) has become the place where exclusivity, art, beauty, legacy, and unique craftsmanship come in one place to tell the unforgettable tale behind each jewel, attracting new entrant during every edition.

Printemps Doha introduced, exclusively in Qatar, orenz B umer, the only famous independent jeweller at Place Vend me in Paris during the exhibition. Jeweller and creator of the Place Vend me, orenz B umer is renowned as one of the most talented artists of his generation.

Since his first creation in 1 2, his creative effervescence has driven him to traverse many landscapes, with a language that is both classical and iconoclastic. When Franco-German jeweller orenz B umer, a trained engineer, set up his own Maison in 1 2, it was not his first try. The insatiable designer behind Maison Chanel’s jewellery for 20 years, then artistic director for jewellery at ouis Vuitton until 2015, quickly stood out because of his architectural, disruptive creations. His original and often spectacular pieces are characterised by a hint of poetic malice, like his ‘ es Ins parables’ ring which features two lovebirds.

Often unclassifiable, orenz B umer’s creations offer a spectacle of joyful complexity, transmitted by virtuosic playfulness and entangling colours as if to liberate light.

Purely natural, all the stones of the Maison are selected by orenz B umer himself. A bespoke creation constitutes the historical savoir-faire of the Maison.

In his eyes, orenz B umer invites each client to “dare to do more” in order to offer them a unique piece of jewellery, like an external brilliance of what one carries within themselves.

The singularity of the creations and the boutique reflects the fascinating career of jeweller orenz B umer.

Precious stones, gold and various materials, as well as their physical properties, hold no secrets for this exceptional creator who likes to shake up certain jewellery codes and introduce certain exclusive tech-niques such as reverse setting, olfactory titanium or meteorite.

This jeweller, always ready to embark on a new creative and revolutionary adventure, is

also particularly attached to the heritage of the Place Vend me and highlights the various exceptional Parisian and French skills.
