Security scan of World Cup stadiums begins

DEFENCE Unit Against Weapons of Mass Destruction at the Ministry of Defence has begun conducting a security scan for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 stadiums to confirm the nonexistence of chemical and radioactive materials, in cooperation with the Security and Safety Operations

Committee of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and brotherly and friendly forces.

So far, the security scan covered Al Janoub stadium and Ahmed Bin Ali stadium, where the latest technologies and advanced devices were used during the scan. This comes as part of the preparations of the Ministry of Defence to secure the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
