Amir visits main World Cup command centre

HIS Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani visited the main command centre of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at the Doha Exhibition Centre in Al Gassar area on Monday.

HH the Amir was briefed on the FIFA main operations centre, the host country’s main operations command centre, and the preparations and measures taken for the global sporting event to ensure the achievement of the highest international standards.

HH the Amir met a number of senior officials from the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) and FIFA.

During the visit, HH the Amir was accompanied by HH Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, President of FIFA Gianni Infantino, and a number of sheikhs, ministers and senior officials of the various concerned authorities.
