PM OPENS PANDA PARK

PRIME Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani inaugurated Panda Park in Al Khor on Thursday.

The Prime Minister was briefed on all the facilities available to welcome visitors, particularly FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 guests.

The PM was also briefed on sustainability and the technology used to provide a suitable environment to the Pandas, in line with the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS), in addition to the standards adopted to conserve energy and the environment.

The PM was accompanied during the visit by a number of ministers, ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Qatar, ranking officials from the Ministry of Municipality and the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
