Qatar’s preparations for World Cup dazzled the world: AIPU chief

SECRETARY-GENERAL of Arab Inter-Parliamentary nion AIP Fayez Al Shawabkeh has hailed Qatar’s great efforts to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, saying that the world has witnessed the country’s great organisation and unprecedented integrated preparations for the tournament.

Speaking to QNA, he said that Qatar’s hosting of the mega sport event dazzled the world and re ected the country’s strong determination to make great multi-field achievements.

Al Shawabkeh highlighted the coordination and joint cooperation between the AIP and the Shura Council, as an AIP member, on various Arab issues and events.

He added that Qatar’s chairmanship of the Arab Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments AASGP would contribute to AASGP’s future efforts, particularly amid the strong determination to back the association’s future activities.
