- QNA

QATAR’S hosting of FIFA World Cup 2022 is inclusive, creative and diverse, where life in Doha is morphed into a coloured painting abound with vitality, beauty, rhythm and joy, Qatari fine artist Hassan Al Mulla has said, adding that everyone’s joy is the joy of the country.

In a special statement to QNA, Al Mulla said that all people responded to the call of the homeland with their different locations, professions and arts. The prominent sporting event has brought the artists and art audiences closer together, and new bridges of dialogue have been extended between them, he said.

“Everyone is asking me what did I do for the World Cup, and the answer is my participation in Qatar collective art exhibition organized by Cultural Village Foundation Katara within the framework of its activities for the World Cup,” he said.

Al Mulla added that he participates in this exhibition with eight artworks that inspire the idea of hosting the tournament since Qatar has been awarded the honour of organizing it. He indicated that he made an artistic formulation for the new climate in his paintings that put Doha at the centre of the world’s attention.

Al Mulla’s art works are characterized by beauty and aesthetics, along with their ability to capture the scenes through honouring the humanitarian feelings, combining the artistic photography, warmth of emotions and feelings, and the celebration of cultural heritage symbols.

The Qatari Fine Arts Exhibition is at the hall of Katara building 19, which will run until December 1 .
