PHCC’s Al Mashaf Health Center becomes 9th centre to offer urgent care services

THE Primary Health Care Corporatio­n PHCC has added

rgent Care Services to Al Mashaf Health Center, bringing the total number of health centres providing this service to nine.

The health centres that provide rgent Care Services 2 hours a day, seven days a week are Al Ruwais, mm Slal, Muaither, Al Gharrafa, Al Sheehaniya, Abu Baker, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Kaaban and Al Mashaf, the ninth state-ofthe-art health centre that has recently opened.

PHCC stated that its clinical teams at 0 health centres are ready to provide medical care to children aged five years and above who have urgent but non-emergency medical conditions. This include a respirator­y tract infection, mild fever, throat pain or ear pain. Parents can take their children, without a prior appointmen­t, to their registered health centre between am and 11pm, or to any of PHCC’s nine rgent Care

nits, open 2 hours a day, seven days a week.

PHCC’s rgent Care nits provide round the clock care for patients with non-threatenin­g medical needs under primary care, such as minor burns, sprains, severe headache or earache, high fever, dehydratio­n and dizziness. Parents can take their children to any PHCC rgent Care nit, regardless of which health centre they are registered at.
