QIIB chairman meets with Serbian Minister
QIIB Chairman and Qatari Businessmen Association Vice Chairman Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani received Hussein Memic, Minister of Tourism and Youth Affairs of Serbia during his visit to the country.
On the occasion of this visit, Sheikh Khalid hosted a lunch, which was attended by the Serbian Minister of Tourism along with Anis Buhik, State secretary and the deputy of the Minister of construction, transport and infrastructure and Rasim Ljacic, the former Serbian Minister of Tourism and Communications.
The meeting was also attended by QIIB CEO Dr Abdubasit Ahmed Al Shaibei and a number of guests.
The Serbian minister while attending the match of his country’s team against Brazil, which was held at Lusail Stadium, accompanied by Sheikh Khalid, complimented Qatar for the impressive organisation of the World Cup in Qatar and expressed his admiration for the design of the stadiums and the urban renaissance in the State of Qatar and wished success for his country and the Qatar national team and wished success for this distinguished tournament.
