Iran president greets Amir on grand World Cup opening

HIS Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call from President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Ebrahim Raisi on Sunday. During the phone call, the Iranian president congratulated HH the Amir on the kick-start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and praised the good organisation, expressing his best wishes to the participating teams in the tournament. The phone call also touched on the bilateral relations and aspects of promoting them in various areas of cooperation, in addition to the most prominent developments of common concern.
