Deputy speaker of Shura receives parliamentarians

DEPUTY Speaker of the Shura Council HE Dr Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti on Tuesday met with Deputy Chairman of Majlis A’Shura of Oman Said bin Hamad A Saadi, Member of the House of Representatives of Yemen and President of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds Hamid bin Abdullah Al Ahmar, Member of the People’s Representative Council of Indonesia and Vice-Chairman of the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) Dr Fadli Zon and Member of in the Chamber of Deputies of Romania and President of the QatarRomanian Friendship Group in the Romanian Parliament Mirela Furtuna.

A number of topics related to parliamentary action and the ways of promoting parliamentary relations were discussed during the meeting.

The parliamentarians expressed their admiration for Qatar’s renaissance and the outstanding organisation of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, wishing the State all success in hosting the tournament.
