Misfat Al Abriyeen

Notable for both its traditional architecture and agriculture, Misfat Al Abriyeen is an Omani oasis village, that has been a self-sustaining cohesive community based on the ancient falaj irrigation systems. Many of the homes there are a variety of different colours, with large fragrant gardens and open terraces to relax in. The first house in Misfat Al Abriyeen village was built hundreds of years ago! Traditional high mud buildings, & agricultural terraces that wrap around the mountain’s terrain, give the visitor a distinctive visual pleasure. The village attracts thousands of tourists to enjoy the nature and heritage that dates back hundreds of years and also adventure tourists from inside and outside the Sultanate.
