What A Smile

The Star (St. Lucia) - Life Begins 2 Nite - - JUICY LOCAL GOSSIP! -

You would be smiling to if you had won yourself two tickets to the WAVE’s Outrageous Sexy in Black (which was held on Friday) plus a costume package from Just 4 Fun with all the goodies from the sponsors. Yes that’s what our lovely lady pictured here won herself this week by simply entering the WAVE’s Outrageous Sexy in Black photo contest on their Facebook page leading up to the event.

Her name is Maya Edmund and she describes herself as a born reveler who loves Soca music and carnival. The Grande Riviere, Gros Islet resident is currently pursuing studies at Monroe College majoring in Business Management. “It has been all school and studying these past few months,” she says. “But this weekend it is time to just let go,” she says with an infectious smile.

Maya will be playing in Just 4 Fun’s section "Fang". The band’s theme for carnival 2015 is OUT OF AFRICA language of the tribes. So do look out for her, but in case you miss out, she will soon be on the cover of the 2NITE magazine and our centerfold. Now that's even more reason for you her to smile and you can too, as you wait in anticipation.
