Popcaan is already putting the Drake “Controlla” fallout behind him with a brand new single “Ova Dweet.” The track was produced by NotNice Records. On the feel good single, the Hotskull deejay sings about living life to the fullest.

“Gyal haffi say / Weh mek yuh clean so? / Gyal haffi say / Weh mek yuh clean so? / High grade smoke a float through mi window / Mi a ova dweet / Woman haffi love mi style, love mi style / Them smell mi cologne from a mile,” Popcaan deejay.

The former Portmore Empire deejay appeared on the original version of Drake’s single “Controlla” but when the Toronto emcee dropped the project last week Popcaan verse was replaced with a sample of Beenie Man classic single “Tear Off Mi Garments.”

Beenie Man also appeared on the Outro of the single. This came at a big surprised since Drake shared a meme with Popcaan confirming him as one of the guest artists on the album.

Seems that move did not go down so well with dancehall fans out voiced their frustration on Instagram. Some fans even trolled Popcaan with some hilarious memes.
