Cops forget their troubles for Kaiso
Last Saturday the Chesterfield building at Police Headquarters was the venue for the Kaiso Headquarters XI show. Dubbed the safest fete, the event was by all indications a success. The event was hosted by an energetic MC Donerville with entertainment provided by local artistes Great White, Keisha, Ezra de Fun Machine and Umpa. They certainly rocked the joint. Presenters were Corporal Alvin Faucher, President of the Police Sports Club; Fiona Smith of Digicel; and COP Severin Monchery.
Taking home the crown and emerging the night’s big winner was PC Alden ‘Spoiler’ Raphael representing the Gros Islet Police Station with a song entitled ‘Organ Donor’. WPC Marva ‘Epee’ Epiphane represented the Soufriere Police Station placing second with her song ‘The Three Cans’ and Sabrina ‘Empress Siwo’ Mangal came in third with ‘The Blame Game’.
Sabrina ‘Empress Siwo’ Smith Mangal engaged the crowd with her hit track The Blame Game which addressed recently highlighted political events, including IMPACS. Her song caught the attention of many and fueled much discussion.
Masked for the moment! Siwo reppin' for the female officers with The Blame Game. ... and the crowds wait in anticipation. Making a real statement. A Melodious Medley. The Organ Doner takes home the crown! T.K.C. - Top Kaiso Cop, the big man 'Spoiler'.
