Back in September, it was believed that the Olympic champion decided to put a mark on his retirement from sprinting by proposing to his long-term girlfriend Kasi Bennett. More than three months later, the athlete has announced that the photos from the social media platform Snapchat allegedly celebrating his engagement to Bennett were in fact edited by somebody else to trick fans.

Bolt claimed to have shared photos of the couple on their luxurious getaway in Bora Bora that somehow wound up in the hands of someone else.

In an interview with ITV, Usain confessed, “I’m not engaged. My girlfriend and I went on a trip to Bora Bora. Somebody edited picture on my Snapchat and said, "she said yes" with a ring. It was well done though.'

Usain Bolt hasn’t popped the big question to Kasi Bennett as yet, however, his family is impatiently waiting for him to settle down and have baby Bolt’s to look after, he claims, “My mum is pressuring me.”

Christine Bolt-Hylton, sister of Usain Bolt says, “the star and his girlfriend Kasi are a solid couple and will stay together because they are so in love.” She continued, “I’m sure Kasi will be used to it by now. She is used to seeing pictures like this. People ask for pictures with him and he is always willing to have pictures. She is used to him being in the public domain.”

The night before his interview with ITV Bolt was the centre of attention while he attended the world premiere of his documentary, ‘I Am Bolt’ in London. After the premiere in Odeon Leicester Square, he switched up his navy blue suit for jeans and a hoodie just in time for the after party at Hotspot Tape. He shared his big night out with many stars including, Justin Bieber, Liam Payne, Salma Hayek, and Mo Farah.
